One worm can destroy the appeal of a bowl of cherries. That thought occurred to me when I read that Senator Harry Reid exempted his staff from Obamacare after railroading the legislation through Congress requiring all Americans to comply with the law except his staff. Reid reminds me of what a worm does to a bowl of cherries and what politicians are doing to what was a democracy. I sometimes think it would be wonderful if we could find an honest, competent politician to lead and reform Congress. On the other hand, what can one cherry do to improve the appeal of a bowl of worms.
