One day, God appeared wearing a top hat that is blue on one side and red on the other side and said, “Follow Me to Peace and Prosperity” and walked to Washington D.C. Americans were hysterically happy and millions followed God singing, joking and laughing.
God walked into the US Capital building and down the center aisle that separated the politicians. On the left side of the aisle, the politicians saw a God wearing a blue hat; on the right side, the politicians saw a God wearing a red hat. When God reached the end of the aisle, He stretched out his arms and ascended into heaven.
When the politicians were interviewed by the mass media that night, some said “God has a blue hat!” And the others said, “No, no, no, He had a red hat on!” And they got into a fight. The fight lasted several years and the country was destroyed because the government was made dysfunctional by the politicians who believed that the color of the hat was more important than God.
